How to remove silicon smudges from a glass surface
l had a frameless glass shower/tub enclosure installed in my bathroom and
the installer was not careful in handling the glass doors after he had
worked with the sealant. He left smudges of silicon on the glass which
I've tried to remove with a glass surface cleaner but did not work. Is
there any other solvent that may help remove this?
WD 40 works on lots of household problems. Just spray it on and
give it a good rub.
use a bit of liighter fluid
Vinegar, gets most dirt from glass, why not give it a try.
I had exactly the same problem when I had a new door installed.
This sounds weird but it worked! Mix equal parts brown mustard (it has to
be brown mustard, not the yellow), Windex, Coca-Cola and cayenne pepper.
Moisten a paper towel with water and then put a little bit of ''the
mixture'' on the towel. Wipe the surface. Good luck!
